Capabilities

Exam Day Under Control, Not On Hope

Most CBT failures are logistics failures: papers leaked early, labs offline with no recourse, incidents resolved by rumor. This module treats exam day as an operations problem and gives controllers real levers to pull.

Venue-Level Orchestration

Every lab reports its state to the command center: candidates checked in, tests in progress, submissions complete. Venue admins act inside their own scope while the drive controller sees the whole picture city by city.

Real-time seat occupancy per lab
Venue admin scoped actions
City-wide drive visibility

Sectional Timing & Grace Periods

Define per-section durations, auto-submit on expiry, and configurable grace periods for technical interruptions. Timers are server-authoritative, so client clock tampering changes nothing.

02
Key Detail

Per-section timers are enforced server-side. Grace periods for technical interruptions are configurable per drive and logged with full audit trails.

Question Paper Security

Papers travel to venues in encrypted packages that unlock minutes before start time with venue-specific keys. Even a compromised lab machine yields nothing usable outside the test window.

03
Key Detail

Question packages are encrypted with venue-specific keys. They unlock only after dual authorization, minutes before the scheduled start time.

Offline-First Resilience

Centers with unstable bandwidth keep running. Responses buffer locally and sync when the link returns; a full power cut resumes candidates at their last answered question within the same attempt.

04
Key Detail

When connectivity drops, responses buffer locally on the venue server. Candidates continue uninterrupted; sync happens automatically on reconnect.

Live Session Metrics

Attendance percentage, in-progress counts, submission rates, and flagged incidents stream to the central dashboard. Anomalies surface as they happen instead of during post-exam reconciliation.

05
Key Detail

Attendance, progress, and submission rates stream to the central dashboard. Anomalies surface in real time, not during post-exam reconciliation.

Centralized Emergency Controls

Pause a section nationwide, extend timing for one affected lab, or swap a question flagged mid-shift. Every emergency action requires dual authorization and is written to the immutable log.

Exam Day Timeline

A Shift From Reporting to Result Upload

Every phase below is visible on the command dashboard. Controllers watch shift health as a set of numbers, not a stream of phone calls.

  1. T-120 min: Lab readiness checks

Venue servers report client health, seat maps, and invigilator sign-ins. Red labs get remote diagnostics before candidates reach the gate.

  2. T-30 min: Biometric reporting closes

Attendance data flows in from the attendance module so no-show seats can be released and manifests finalized.

  3. T-15 min: Papers unlock

Encrypted question packages decrypt with venue keys after dual authorization. Integrity hashes verify before any candidate sees a question.

  4. Shift: Live monitoring

Progress curves, incident flags, and submission rates update continuously. Time extensions and pauses execute remotely with logged approval.

  5. Shift end: Sealed handoff

Final responses encrypt and transfer into the decryption pipeline. Venue sign-off completes only when the central store confirms integrity.
